HovertestThe short version
Hovertest does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What stays on your device
- Your answers, XP, streak, mastery by topic and chosen country are saved only on your phone, in the app's local storage.
- They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
- The question bank and chart images are built into the app, so it works fully offline.
Purchases
The one-time purchase is handled entirely by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). We never see your name, email or payment details: the store only tells the app whether the purchase is active, so it can unlock the full content and restore it on a new device. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to the payment.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
This website
This site uses no cookies and no analytics, and its fonts are served from this site. The free practice test runs entirely in your browser: your answers are not saved or sent anywhere. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Changes
If the app ever starts handling personal data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, with the date above.
